Artists/Architects of KHEPERU (AOK), a word in the language of Ancient Kemet that conveys the idea of transformation, dynamic movement, and creative evolution, is a self-determining cultural body that critically rejects mediocrity and without distraction, tunes in to the intentionality of fearlessness. We unapologetically demand the best and most from selves, lives, and work.
The Mission
Through collaborative action, strategy, intentionality, and revolutionary art, Artists/Architects of KHEPERU (AOK) seeks to RE-imagine, RE-create, and RE-define for itself and others, pathways to agency, health and well-being.
The Scarab
The scarab beetle is the visual symbol for Artists/Architects of KHEPERU (AOK). Ancient Kemetic in nature, it activates the image of self-creation, transformation, and rebirth.
